Date: July 14, 2009
Hello <:firstname:>!
A few weeks ago in this newsletter I mentioned that there were all sorts of exciting Erasure plans in the pipeline that I was looking forward to telling you about, and I'm very excited this week to announce another of them, the 'Phantom Bride' EP...
NEW ERASURE
RELEASE - THE 'PHANTOM BRIDE' EP!
'Phantom Bride', from Erasure's 1988 album The Innocents, will be released by
Mute Records as a special EP on October 12th. Featuring brand new remixes from
Almighty, Frankmusik, Dogmatix and Vince Clarke the EP will be released as a
CD and via digital download. That's all I know at the moment, but as soon as
I have more information I'll post it on the website
and let you know!
THE INNOCENTS
2009 - RELEASE DATE
Mute Records have announced that the much anticipated 21st anniversary edition
of Erasure's 1988 album The Innocents will be released on October 26th and will
be available as a standard and a deluxe edition. Again, more information when
it's available but I will say that you're going to love the deluxe edition!
ERASURE.CLUB
EP - AUDIO SAMPLES ONLINE
I've added a little audio player to the NEWS
page at ErasureInfo.com so you can now listen to extracts from all six of the
remixes featured on the Erasure.Club EP which will be released on August 10th.
The extracts are also available to listen to on Erasure's MySpace
page. The EP is available for PRE-ORDER
at Lexer Music's Official Erasure Shop along with a special Erasure.Club t-shirt,
more about that below!
LIMITED
EDITION ERASURE.CLUB T-SHIRT
In the last
newsletter I promised you I'd try and photograph the Erasure.Club t-shirts that
I have had printed up as samples, but at the time I had no idea it would be
so difficult to photograph them in a way that makes them look as good as they
do look! However I have done my best and you can see the results of my efforts
also in the NEWS section at ErasureInfo.com... remember that the shirts are
only available via PRE-ORDER
from Lexer Music's ERASURE
SHOP before JULY 28th!
Last week, in the spirit of our international Erasure family, I signed off my newsletter with a spirited 'Muchos Gracias' which only served to demonstrate my lack of knowledge of the Spanish language because I now know that I should have said 'Muchas Gracias', so here you go...
Muchas Gracias!
Enjoy your week...
Richard
